How do I submit my custom artwork?

How do I submit my custom artwork?

If you purchased the Custom Branding service along with your charging station on www.chargetech.com, you will receive an automatic email with directions on how to submit your custom artwork according to ChargeTech guidelines. Or, simply follow the “How to Submit Your Artwork” directions below:

  • Download the template that fits your charging model here: https://app.box.com/s/m9zul67w9wc6v8zbmers. All artwork is labeled by the particular model number.
  • Apply your artwork to the template and save it as a PDF and Adobe Illustrator (.ai) file.  Do not modify the locked guidelines layer and be sure to “embed” all linked images/files (tutorial here:https://youtu.be/TEwHUjW1atw). Be sure to also create “outlines” for all of your text (tutorial here:https://youtu.be/FxVh5DxZxFc). Allow for a ½ inch bleed over the trim line.
  • Once you have saved your artwork, submit your artwork to artwork@chargetech.com in Adobe Illustrator and PDF format and note your order number in the subject line. Failure to do this may cause delay in processing of your artwork.
  • If there are no issues with your submission, your artwork will be sent directly to print.  Should there be issues with your submission we will contact you directly.

Please note that we cannot accept files that are not properly submitted according to our guidelines. ChargeTech is not liable for misprinted artwork due to user submitted artwork error.
 

Orders with Custom Branding will ship out within 7-14 business days after artwork submission. We cannot accommodate rushed artwork production, printing, or application, but do offer rush delivery with an added surcharge.  Actual shipping time may vary.

I already own a ChargeTech charging station, but would like to add Custom Branding to it. How do I do this?

Already have a ChargeTech charging station and want to add Custom Branding? Simply go to: https://chargetech.com/product/custom-branding/ and add this to your cart. At checkout, be sure to indicate in the Comments section that you already have a ChargeTech unit and specify the model of the unit along with the number of units you would like to add Custom Branding to. Once your order is processed, you will be emailed with instructions on how to submit your artwork file according to ChargeTech guidelines.

How long does Custom Branding Production take? Do you accommodate rushed production?

Orders with Custom Branding will ship out within 7-14 business days after artwork submission. We cannot accommodate rushed artwork production, printing, or application, but do offer rush delivery with an added surcharge. To purchase expedited shipping, you may do so on our website and place a note in the comments section that you need expedited shipment applied to Order# {your order number}. Failure to do so may provide cause for delays. Actual shipping time may vary.

I already own a ChargeTech charging station, but would like to add Custom Branding to it. How do I do this?

I would like to apply my own Custom Artwork to my charging station. What are the dimensions for the display area on my unit?

If you wish to handle the artwork yourself, you can download the appropriate template for your unit here: https://app.box.com/s/m9zul67w9wc6v8zbmers. Your artwork should then be printed on 13x17 size paper.

I did not receive instructions on how to submit my artwork, what do I do?

I don’t know how to submit my artwork according to the ChargeTech guidelines. Can I get assistance or pay for this service?

The cost of Custom Branding ($600) does not cover artwork creation or designing. Should you need assistance with logo placement or simple artwork design into a Adobe Illustrator or PDF file, we can provide in-house design services for a flat fee of $200 for one design. You will be provided with 2 rounds of reviews and approval. Artwork creation can take between 10-14 business days, depending on the number and round of revisions, once the raw files are submitted.
