Congratulations Duracell, Powermat and Jay-Z for beginning the wireless smartphone charging pad movement.
Smartphones are becoming extremely popular among teenagers and cell phone junkies in today’s society. However, the smartphone’s capability to do so many things lead to a greater loss in battery life in a short amount of time. In response to the “My Cell Phone Died!” problem, Proctor & Gamble’s Duracell and Israel-based start-up Powermat Technologies Inc. have teamed up to form a joint venture to provide wireless charging stations which are just like mobile phone docking stations. The power mat comes with several flaws even though smartphone and cell phone users alike are in need of a way to charge their phone on the go, as a last resort of when they are on the run. In my opinion, the best answer for this would be to provide free cell phone charging stations with multi charging tips to the public. In fact, check out ChargeAll and download the MyCellPhoneDied App to locate FREE smartphone charging stations around the world.
