Never Sit on The Floor of an Airport Again (seriously!)

  • 2 min read
I cannot tell you how many times I’ve had to sit on the floor of an airport just to charge my cell phone.

Low cell phone battery is a problem that plagues us all but it is specifically a problem while traveling. And as a student going to college half way across the country from my native California, I am no stranger to travel.

When I travel, cell phone battery is one of the main things I’m concerned about. I need my phone for a million things- keeping myself entertained on long flights, directions around an unfamiliar city, or being able to call my family while I’m away.

I can remember one vivid moment when I had to charge my cell phone in the bathroom of a Gap while in Chicago because I didn’t want to be alone in a familiar city without access to technology. As I hovered precariously by the sink, trying to stay out of the way as women washed their hands and give me sympathetic looks, I knew there had to be a better option.

Thankfully, ChargeTech has provided some great options for busy travelers. Here are some of my favorites:

Portable Power Outlet - While most portable chargers boast about charging life or durability, ChargeTech’s option also has one more great selling feature- the AC outlet. This outlet allows you to power things you would normally plug into the wall such as a laptop, printer, or medical devices. It even comes with a converter so that those oversees can use it (woohoo!).

Portable Keychain Phone Charger - Let me be clear, I’ve tried a lot of portable phone chargers but none of them really suck. They were either too bulky, misdesigned, or just plain didn't work. This ChargeTech charger is the best of them all. Not only does it have a nice matte finish (very professional!) but it also features LED lights that tell you how charged the product is. It fits nicely onto a keychain or bag handle, making it easy for travel. I carry this around with me constantly and use it often.

With all this great technology being created, traveling is becoming easier and easier. Maybe one day I won’t even have to worry about my phone running out of battery!
